Happy Hundredth!

Today is a special day!

Do you know what it is?

No, it isn’t my birthday.

No, it isn’t a special anniversary for my business.

It is the 100th day of the year.

Can you believe it?

I know many of us think of the year in quarters…but that makes it feel like there is a lot of time left.

(We are 1/4 of the way through the year…there is still tons of time…3/4 left!)

Somehow this number held a lot more weight with me.

100 DAYS.

There are only 265 left!

So, it’s time to ask a few questions…

Get ready to really think about what I am going to ask.

Don’t blow these questions off and wait for later.

Stop what you are doing.

Take a breath to focus.

I promise it will only take a few minutes.

Ready?

(No, that isn’t one of the questions.)

Ok…here we go…

How far are you with your plan?

Have you stayed on track?

What did you say you were going to accomplish by now that you didn’t?

(Note: this isn’t all doomsday – celebrate anything you planned to accomplish and DID!)

Now it’s time to get in the game.

You have goals you want to accomplish – and hopefully a vision to get you there.

If you haven’t hit milestones you set for yourself, now is the time to ask why.

Are your steps too big?

Too small?

Are you really motivated to do it (should your goal still be your goal)?

If you aren’t accomplishing things…maybe you need a coach or an accountability group.

Sometimes, simply having to check in with someone can make a big difference.

When you know you have to physically say, “I didn’t do it” to someone, it can push you to complete tasks that may otherwise sit idle.

So, for the next 100 days, get your rear in gear!

Kick it up a notch!

200 days in is July 20 – what will your answers to these questions be then?

Until then…stay passionate!

Dana

P.S. If you are making commitments and want to be held accountable, mention them in the comments.
