Olive You

Happy Valentine’s Day my sweet!

You are very important to me.

You make me smile.

You are special.

I wake up and go about my day because of you.

Without you, I couldn’t be the best me.

So this Valentine’s Day, I want to say…

“Olive you.”

Olive You

I like to take this time of year to express my gratefulness to those around me.

So many business owners slave to send out holiday cards in December.

And they are one of a million we all get…

If you are lucky yours gets opened.

But most of those cards get lost in the overflow of gratitude we all get at year end.

We have all gotten the cards that laser on everyone’s signature…they do more harm than good.

If you want to cut through the clutter, consider sending your cards at a different time of year.

It could be any time, really.

Personally, I like Valentine’s Day because there are so many punny cards out there to choose from.

However, whatever works for your schedule will be good for your clients.

Gratitude, as long as it is felt, is always appreciated.

My best advice is to make sure it’s authentic and sincere.

People can tell if they are one in a big pile of cards.

If you can swing it, put more than just your signature in “real ink” and write a little personal message.

Yes, this can be daunting if you have a lot of clients, but it makes a difference.

And, if you are going to do it, I say do it right.

That is why I think sending gratitude all year long is best.

Remember those systems I’ve been talking about?

If steps of gratitude aren’t included in your systems, they should be.

And there are so many studies that show the benefits of expressing gratitude.

It can make you a happier, more mentally healthy person.

And, it spreads joy!

So, this Valentine’s Day, think of who you can spread a little joy to.

Find someone who matters to you, and let them know.

Olive you all.

Until then…stay passionate!
